Anyway, i'm here today to blog about something that has changed and impacted my life in so many ways possible. I think I've talked about them so many times but I feel that it is only right that I blog about them. (If i blog about you, you're very important to me ok). SO LETS GET ON WITH THE POST.
So exactly a month back, I met the HYRON family. I was an awkward potato (actually most of us were) looking for a new experience and I just casually signed up for FOW thinking that I'll just get over with the 3 days that i'll be there. On the first day, I felt out of place...everyone was so pretty and good looking I just felt like shit. It didn't help that I didn't really talk much but I did make a few friends, but only to the point where we would talk about basic shit la.
I was contemplating whether I should go for the second day of FO, because I felt so sian and tired. I kept thinking and even up to the morning of the second day itself, I was considering not to attend. But I felt like it would've been a waste..I've already attended day 1 so why not the next two days, right? I hesitantly walked to the sports hall and was greeted by overly-enthusiastic GLs (who were really really nice even to a stranger like me). The second day was one of the best days to me because it was performance night and we got the chance to perform for our beloved GLs. :') Going up on the stage to do our skit, dance and cheers made me feel proud to be in Hyron. I was already warming up to Hyron at that point.
Special shout-out to my sub-empire HYNEE!!!!!! I miss you all so much, that's right honey!!!!!! Thank you for taking such good care of us and for making FO fun for me! Hynee has a special place in my heart too!
Day 3 (the last day ugh) came and we played water games!!! which were so fun oh my goshhhhh hehe. Other than the fact that my shorts never dried fully and that I looked like a complete utter mess at the end of the day, day 3 was when I felt extremely bonded with Hyron. The last game was sorta like an amazing race and it was so awesome!! I've never ran so much in so long haha. FO was almost coming to an end but before that we did our cheers and sang the school song + took group pictures.
It was then time to part...I felt so empty after leaving school and it sucked even more that I couldn't stay long enough to spend time with Hyron & the rest of FO at CPF building :'(
After day 3 me and the rest of the Hyron freshies started talking a lot in our whatsapp group!!!!! From there we had a lot of inside jokes and we just talked about nonsense...I was super happy and I spent my remaining holiday talking to them till about 2am almost every day. Talk about missing them too much!!
However we came back for FOC performance night where our GLs would perform for us!! We just wore our tetribus tshirt because Hyron's colour was green. Some of us had dinner together first before going to school and we bought 50 bottles of honey lemon for the GLs.

I feel so so close to you guys that I'm willing to upload our unglams. AHAHAHA.
Our first official Hyron dinner in school! I was so sad I couldn't join them when they went to Sentosa but it was great seeing Hyron on the first day of school.
To end off this short post, I just want to say that I'll remember Hyron as my freshie empire. My first empire that made FO history, without the GLs or the freshies, we wouldn't have made it. This is not the end of our journey, we'll only be closer as a family as time goes by :') Thank you Hyron for making me a better person and for making me realise how much I love my first family in temasek poly.
